Hans, my dear, I’m afraid we’ve had a misunderstanding.
I told you once that “wherever I find myself, I can adapt”, apparently you took that to mean it’d be no problem for me if we moved into a tree house in a remote corner of the HP Republic of the Compaq Jungles to live out your dream.
Now, I admit tropical living has its charms. (There’s always a new aroma on the air and I'd never be able to experience this back home... I've never seen so many brightly colored transforming animals before!)
But when I said “I can adapt” all I really meant was that I had a couple extra KG298AA 90W Smart AC laptop adapters for my notebook which I keep one in the car and the other at work. So, you know, if I was at Starbucks or something important! - I could do a little emailing or get my tweet out without worrying about my battery dying and my coffee from getting cold. I never have to leave Facebook either, I mean what doesn't this adapter do?
Funny, now, to think that a computers battery charge was ever even on my top thousand worries! Since we’ve lived in Compaq Jungles, I’ve been at robbed four times, I’ve suffered an animal trampling, and I even had a close call with an active volcano on what was supposed to be our “romantic anniversary picnic” as I’m sure you’ll remember.
Hans, I know a little something about compatibility. You know the notebook PC I had back home? That 17" HP laptop you bought
for me? Well, you should have seen it the KG298AA#ABA, 239428-001, 239705-001 plugged into one. That was compatibility, right there. After thinking back on it now, I don’t know why I couldn’t see that we just didn’t have it.
I’ll be gone by the time you read this, Hans, If you read this. All I could find to write with was a stick dipped in the crushed bodies of these weird purple beetles that seem to get into everything.
But even if you never read these words, Hans, I’m sure you’ll understand my decision. I can’t handle this life. I’m going back to what I used to have... to my old job, my old apartment, my old trust worthy HP Smart 90W adapter, the whole dang show.
I know I’ll never forget this time we spent together, though I’ll sure try. And I hope you find your Compaq blood roots. Hans, I really do. And when you do, I hope he tears you into pieces and devours you because now I lost my Facebook top 10 position and you know how I am with being #1.
Good To Know Important Information on the HP 90W Smart AC Adapter:
1. Enjoy the flexibility and convenience of having an extra 90W Smart-pin AC Adapter for your notebook, whether you’re at home, in the office, or traveling. You can leave one at your desk and keep the other in your bag for quick plug-in, no more climbing under the desk to plug and unplug.
2. You are actually saving energy over time: the Smart-pin technology reduces power consumption when the maximum adapter rating is reached. Recharge the battery, whether the PC is on or off, when plugged in an electrical outlet. Protect your system from surges with the built-in surge protector.
3. Connects to most non smart-pin HP and Compaq notebooks with a included dongle adapter which makes this ac adapter the most popular and used laptop accessory for the past few years!
